Whaddaya Know?
I am sitting at school in the library. I look around me and see several students trying to get out of, and get into, classes that they did or did not intend to take this semester. I wonder, if I am ever going to get out of here. I mean I know that I only have another 2 semesters to get my marketing management diploma, including this one, and can potentially start in the spring on the BBA - but is that what I want? In my heart of hearts I know that I need to get some sort of degree if I ever intend on living the lifestyle I have grown up accustomed to. Things don't work the same way as they used to. Education is a must, and a B of Something is the bare minimum for me.
Ahhh, life. Good news is that I am finally out of math 11 and have moved on to bigger and better accounting classes (no, I am not really happy about this but I am determined to do this in one clean shot, if it means killing all summer social activites).
I noticed today (and I mean this with no disrespect what-so-ever, and I do not mean to offend either) that the majority of people of asian decent are wonderfully organized and neat. It baffles me. It must be a societal thing. There was this girl in the cafeteria at lunch and I have never seen such a neat and organized book - and there was proof. Her class went over two semesters and she was learning from the same professor, therefore all her notes were visable and neat. She had everything color-coded and tagged for easy access. Then there is this girl beside me who has a written day-planner (something I personally was never able to keep due to my inert ability to make disasters out of anything written) and it is so neat and clean (with little stickers next to each of her friends name) and I don't think anything in my life would ever be this neat.
Perhaps I need to invest time building up a wide network of people who have qualities in them I admire - such as neatness and ability to for go procrastination.
...speaking of procrastination... I should be reading chapter one and two for my financial accounting class, but alas, what am I doing? Writing to you all - my adoring fans (yeah, right). So here I go. I hope I managed to hold your attention and entertain your mind for longer than the 30 second span 90% of the population seems to carry.
